Alexandre Rispal

An approach that shakes up.  Often described as unclassifiable, Alexandre Rispal offers an approach to business issues using the latest technological trends, the tools of the best companies in terms of strategic approach, marketing and communication analysis. Above all, he has proven operational expertise having initiated multiple associations, set up three marketing, innovation and sales departments starting from scratch in large companies and launched or supported as manager four startups and scale-ups.

A constant thirst for learning

 

Passionate about the economy, politics and business, Alexandre naturally gravitates towards towards preparatory classes. During his studies at Sciences-Po Lille, he discovered the world of business at Vodafone in sports marketing by working in the Global Brand & Consumer Insights on the partnership with the Ferrari team which dominated the Formula 1 world championship at the time. He also spent a year at the University of Dundee in Scotland specializing in International Political Economy in contact with students from whole world.

After graduating from Sciences-po Lille in Public Administration,in second place in his promotion, he decided to move into marketing. He then follows the Master of Science in Marketing and Communication, international marketing specialization of Inseec.

Years later, he did a Professional Doctor of Business Administration awarded by Ligs University with a thesis on the importance of personal branding of founders to raise funds. He completed his training in Leadership at Insead, in strategy at Harvard Business School Online and in International Finance at Harvard Law School Executive Education. He has also Doctor of Business Administration (Honoris Causa) in Insurance Technology Innovation and the title of Distinguished Professor from the international accreditation body QAHE and the American University of Business and Social Sciences.

A vision as a guide: technology at the service of innovation and the transformation of society

He discovered insurance in 2005 and quickly became an expert in this subject by launching innovative projects: self-connected, automated reimbursements and was quickly promoted to the position of marketing and innovation manager of a major player in mutualism and then of a major bancassurance.He then took over the general management of a subsidiary of a large insurance group, the result of an intrapreneurship project that he imagined, carried out and developed with his co-founders.The company then develops Artificial Intelligence and parametric technological solutions which make it possible to transform the B2B landscape in the world of contextual insurance in Europe.LThe success of this company came quickly and he won the Young Manager of the Year 2017 prize from the Trophées de l’Assurance.

In 2019 the company has 500,000 customers, 15 partners in Europe, India and China, 20 employees, it is ranked in the top 100 worldwide in several rankings and has raised more than 6 million euros.. Building on this experience, Alexandre Rispal has since supported the acceleration of the scale-up Wakam between 2019 and 2020 in its international growth as Chief Revenue Officer then the startup Assurly between 2020 and 2022 as Deputy Managing Director.

With this experience combining technology, strategy and operational execution, he became Operating Partner in 2022 and also lecturer for executive education programs.

An entrepreneur serving society committed to sharing technology with as many people as possible

Alexandre Rispal has also led numerous associations: he co-founded the club of young marketing professionals of Adetem (National Marketing Association) which he directed from 2008 to 2010, before becoming Administrator until 2016. by occupying the function of President of the Banking Finance Insurance Club until the same date. In 2019, it becameVice-President of the Innovatech Commission within the FG2A. In 2020,he co-founded Insurtech France and became General Secretary. The association has enjoyed tremendous success with 250 member companies in 3 years. He remains a member of the office to this day. In 2022, itco-founded and became Vice-President of CyclingTech France, the association of bicycle startups.

He has also co-signed several manifestos on the supervision of Artificial Intelligence which have become landmarks, such as the one calling for thepause in AI experiments in 2023, that concerningthe supervision of lethal autonomous weapons in 2016.

Not to mention the open letter for more robust research in AI, still in 2016.

He also wrote an anticipation book on Artificial Intelligence in 2015 Human Psycho qwho was noticed at the timeand whose predictions are happening right now.

A desire to share his experience

 

PDriven by the desire to pass on his knowledge, he teaches marketing, innovation and economics in business schools.In addition to having given over 100 conferences and published over 40 articles including oneRegular activity as a columnist for Forbes France,Alexandre wrote numerous works such asthe 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition of the “Major Principles of Insurance Marketing” published by L’argus de l’assurance, a reference work for 18 years on the subject, “Developing your activity thanks to social media” published by editions L'argus de l'assurance, “Revolutionize insurance with the metaverse” published by L'argus de l'assurance or in “Rupture, do you have disruption? – The future is already behind us” published by the Kawa publishing house.
